Great workout with the recruits this morning. I have been giving the new hires in EMT B class a chance to get strong and fit before the fire academy starts. Each morning, a select few warriors show up and put in work. Each day I work them until they crumble and they leave appreciative and accomplished.

It’s not only about working the body. It’s about proving to the mind that the body is capable.

Main workout:

50 crunches and 50 leg lifts

1.5 mile run

50 crunches and 50 leg lifts

55 deadlifts @ 135lbs (descending ladder)
