Patrick D. McCormick

A Long-Term Digital Partner for WCRC

WCRC already has the programs, facilities, mission, and stories needed for an exceptional website. The opportunity is to organize and present those strengths in a clearer, more visual, and more engaging way.

The website should help visitors quickly understand what WCRC offers, imagine themselves on the grounds, and confidently take the next step—whether they are planning a retreat, selecting a summer camp, reserving a campsite, supporting the ministry, or exploring employment.

What the Website Needs

The next stage of WCRC’s website should focus on:

The goal is not merely to build a more attractive website. It is to create a useful digital resource that supports WCRC’s ministry, staff, guests, and long-term goals.

Why McCormick Digital

I am preparing to take a deferred retirement from the fire department so I can focus on the next chapter of my life with my family, including homeschooling my son.

Although I have several independent sources of income, I am also seeking steady part-time work doing something I genuinely enjoy and believe in. McCormick Digital was created specifically around the opportunity to work with WCRC. I am not attempting to build a large agency or assemble a long list of unrelated clients.

That distinction matters.

A large web company may divide its attention among dozens of accounts. Its developers may never visit WCRC, meet its guests, experience its programs, or fully understand its vision. That distance can lead to slower communication, generic ideas, and a website managed as a collection of service requests.

I am offering something different: a responsive, long-term digital partner who can be present at WCRC, communicate directly with its staff, understand what is happening on the grounds, and turn those experiences into meaningful website content.

More Than Website Maintenance

My proposed role could include:

This would not be a relationship built around nickel-and-diming WCRC for every small adjustment. It would be an ongoing partnership centered on communication, responsiveness, trust, and shared goals.

Present on the Grounds. Invested in the Mission.

An on-site developer and content partner can understand WCRC in a way that a distant company cannot.

I could see the programs, speak with staff, identify stories worth telling, respond when information changes, and continually improve the website based on the real WCRC experience.

WCRC would not simply be another account in a client-management system. It would be the reason McCormick Digital exists.

My goal is to help WCRC build a digital presence that reflects its mission, supports its staff, reaches more people, and grows stronger over time.
